We can help you find information on home and car repair, directions to places, and more. We are trained in how to find and evaluate information so we can help you find useful information faster.
We can also help you locate organizations that help with educational, legal, medical, tax, debt and other problems.
Instruction
We provide individual instruction on how to use our resources more effectively. This includes our catalog and, in short 10-minute sessions, our computers and the Internet. We also provide one-on-one training with our databases.
Collection Development
We maintain collections in regular print, large print, graphic novel, audio, and video formats. Our age groupings are juvenile, young adult, and adult. Our special collections are Children’s Awards, Children’s Language Instruction (Picture Books and Easy Readers), East Asian Language, Fantasy Fiction, Mystery Fiction, One Hundred Worst Movies, Parenting, Science Fiction, Spanish Language, and Western Fiction. If you find we are missing something, please let us know. We are happy to consider adding it.
