Traffic Boxes Act as Canvass for Photography

Haltom City now has on display five new pieces of public art. The pallets for these works, taken from photographs, are traffic signal boxes located along Haltom Road and at Midway Road and Carson Street. The subjects include the historic Portwood Market, kids playing baseball, Texas wildflowers and a railroad crossing. A committee of citizens chose the works.
